Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data MMOListServer ("we", "us") collects on mmolistserver.com ("the Site"), why, and what choices you have.
1. What we collect
- Account data: your email address and a password. Passwords are stored only in encrypted (hashed) form, so we cannot read them. We also record when you accepted the Terms.
- Listing data: server website, experience rate, season, opening date, and banner images you upload.
- Orders: what you bought, the amount, dates, and PayPal order and payment IDs. Payments are handled by PayPal. We never see or store your card number or PayPal password.
- Votes: when someone votes, we store the server voted for and a one-way hash of the visitor’s IP address (not the IP itself) to enforce one vote per 24 hours.
- Visit statistics: we count visits using a hash that changes every day, without cookies. It cannot be used to follow a person across days. Known bots are excluded.
- Clicks: when someone clicks a server or banner we add one to a counter for that server and day (no personal data), so owners can see how many clicks they received.
- Contact form: the name, email and message you send, so we can reply.
- Website checks: our system visits the website address of each listed server once a day to check that it is reachable.
2. Cookies and local storage
- One essential login cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It is not used for advertising.
- Your browser’s local storage remembers which servers you voted for, so the Vote button is shown correctly, your chosen language, and whether you closed the pop-up banner for 24 hours.
- Analytics: if enabled, we use Plausible (no cookies) or, only if you press Accept on the notice, Google Analytics (cookies). Voting may show a human check from Cloudflare Turnstile.
3. How we use data
- To run the Site: accounts, listings, voting, banners and promotions.
- To process payments and keep accounting records.
- To email you about your account: verification, banner approval or rejection, and service notices, and a weekly report with your clicks and votes (every email has a link to stop the weekly report).
- To protect the Site from fraud, abuse and vote manipulation.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Who we share data with
- PayPal processes payments under its own privacy policy.
- Cloudflare (human check when voting, if enabled) and Plausible or Google (analytics, if enabled).
- Hostinger provides our hosting, database and email. Data may be stored in data centers outside your country.
- Public information you submit (server name, rate, season, date, banners) is shown on the Site to everyone.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
5. How long we keep data
We keep account and listing data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove it, except for order records that we must keep for accounting and legal reasons.
6. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data by writing to support@mmolistserver.com from your account email. You can also delete your listings yourself from "My servers".
7. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The Site’s paid services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16 for accounts.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version.
